Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in archaeology is fast becoming a much needed tool in the management and analysis of archaeological resources. I use an array of different mapping tools in order to meet the specific needs of projects including software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD, Surfer, and GRASS.
